Professional Training

As a lifelong artist, I began to pursue my second career in psychotherapy, a field which had always been fascinating to me. I earned a master's degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Southwestern College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In addition to my degree, my training includes workshops and conferences in several areas of mental health; including marriage and family counseling, children’s mental health, and women’s transition. I have experience in individual and group counseling with women, teens, children and toddlers. I am a Professional Clinical Counselor Intern under the supervision of Lesli Johnson, MFT (License MFC40345).

I am a transplanted New Englander who loves California. In my free time, I enjoy painting and creative writing, yoga and reading. I also love cooking and entertaining for friends and family. I am the proud mother of a daughter and two sons and the loving grandmother to a baby girl.
